SPEAKER_06

It's slip it in, the combo that has you upset. We're talking pop culture, bad choices, obviously things that should stay in the group chat.

SPEAKER_02

But they don't. You'll laugh. You'll cringe. Oh my god, did they really just say that? Oh, we said it.

SPEAKER_06

And yeah, we slip it in.

SPEAKER_01

Every single You laugh, you cringe, you beg for more with a guilty pleasure you can't ignore like a drunk excent at 2 a.m. We slipped it in again.

SPEAKER_06

Welcome,

Detroit Air Quality And Masks

SPEAKER_06

welcome, welcome, everyone. We are back slipping it in with you. I'm Megan.

SPEAKER_02

I'm Maddie. You cannot call me Poppy, but I'm JJ.

SPEAKER_06

Well, I can finally breathe outside. What about you guys?

SPEAKER_03

Finally today. So yeah, it's uh been a little weird for me. I don't know about you all, but what we're referencing, obviously, by the time it people listen to this, it's it's big news. It's not groundbreaking here what we're talking about. But because we're in Michigan and the Canadian fires are right across the Detroit River from us, uh, we are we had the worst air quality they would say on the planet, which I'm just like, it's but it was we were number one. I there's a IQ quality website that I think probably almost went down because they it probably was visited by like 15 people a day, and then suddenly thousands are checking the air quality. Um, you could it's it's kind of cool. I checked it for even Lowell so I could tell my dad not to mow the lawn. But um, yeah, so it's been rough. I mean, I had little PTSD, to be honest with you. It felt like COVID because I didn't want to go out of my house, it was that bad. And then if you did go out of your house, you had to wear a mask. And I'm just like, oh my god, I'm having flash.

SPEAKER_02

I had to go to like all my drawers trying to find my mask, and I'm actually grateful that I actually had some that I saved up because otherwise, um, I tried and attempted to go to the gym. I think it was like Thursday, and I said, I'm just gonna go and do it. It was so bad that it was, I'm like, I did a quick uh fruit loop, went back home.

SPEAKER_03

I went out to water my flowers and I just turned right back around because it literally felt like there was a bonfire all around me.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. And sometimes during like I was like my work day, I would get a whiff of like the smoke, and I would think, oh wait, did I put anything on the stove that I forgot about? Like, but it was like, oh no, it's the fire, it's the fires, and it's like bad, very, very bad.

SPEAKER_03

You know, speaking of masks, just so you know, public service announcement, you do need an N95 mask, not just a COVID mask.

SPEAKER_06

I know, but okay, well, yeah, they said the regular paper or cloth masks do nothing with the smoke, not for what yeah, and there's actual like particles in this air of like burnt ash, etc.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, so anyway, I don't think we're on the other end of this. Obviously, Canada has it the worst because that's where the fires are. In America, we have it the worst in Michigan and specifically in Detroit. Yes, the weather patterns changed, so today I was able to run some errands. Yeah, but I don't know what next week brings, but we're taking what we get. And I have heard that the weather's supposed to be beautiful in New Jersey on Sunday.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, I'm so excited about that for the workout.

SPEAKER_03

Spain and Argentina. Yeah, I'm excited too. JJ is gonna either be loving life or very depressed. Either way, I think.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, or overjoyed. And um, I'm so excited because like the actual jersey that they're um wearing now for the LA will soup, I'm supposed to get it on Monday. So wow. So fingers crossed.

SPEAKER_03

Perfect. Oh,

World Cup Talk And Telemundo Confusion

SPEAKER_03

wait. So the jersey, a victory jersey? The victory jersey. Oh wow, that's a risk.

SPEAKER_06

So it's if you don't know, we're talking about the World Cup, which I will say I am so excited for the halftime show. Oh, Madonna Shakira, Shaber, I can't it's unwatchable. I was here with Maddie and JJ the other day watching one of the games, and for some reason, I still don't quite understand it. It's all in Spanish.

SPEAKER_02

The commentators can explain this. NBC is hosting the work of a FIFA work of and it's NBC is affiliated with Telemundo, which is the host and a Spanish broadcaster. It's a global um broadcaster, and that's why in Peacock you can see it and watch it in Spanish. But if you don't understand it, you can go to Fox Sports.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_03

Fox Sports. Fuck Sports? Oh, also, Megan, when you don't understand or stand it, it's just a Google away, I will say.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Well, I so anyway, JJ is either going to be, I took Monday off. Yeah. So I'm either going to be needing it off because I've got to provide support for JJ, or I'm taking it off because we went crazy Sunday night.

SPEAKER_02

Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_06

So wow, interesting.

SPEAKER_03

So that is kind of an on the fence kind of thing.

Taco Bell Lettuce Parasite Panic

SPEAKER_03

We do, let's get one more negative thing out before we get into some other topics.

SPEAKER_02

Another thing that Detroit's on the top.

SPEAKER_06

Yes, Michigan is making headlines left and right.

SPEAKER_03

Speeze, Megan.

SPEAKER_06

If you haven't heard about it, there is this whole, I think, Cycle Sopra is what it's called, which is this parasite or virus that's giving people diarrhea.

SPEAKER_03

Explosive diarrhea.

SPEAKER_06

Explosive diarrhea. And it's been linked to Taco Bell's, I'm sorry to say, but also for her to even say it on that. Because I love Taco Bell, but it goes back to their um lettuce provider, Taylor Farms, which I always see Taylor Farms, I buy some of their bagged salad uh mixes and things. And I always think of them as being higher quality than like a dull bagged mix lettuce. So um, yeah, I'm kind of shocked and surprised by it.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. I you mean I feel like you really dodged a bullet.

SPEAKER_06

Well, so what's funny is on July 4th weekend, which is when I think this explosive diarrhea started happening to people, we were driving up north and we were gonna stop to get food on the way. And we went into a town called West Branch and we're gonna get food. And Kyle and Denise, who you heard on the last episode, were like, we want chicken fingers. So we were like, Oh, we'll go to a KFC. Well, we pull in, it's a KFC slash Taco Bell, which is one of my faves. Because then I'm like, oh, good, I'm gonna get Taco Bell. Well, we pull in and we realize it's completely black. Oh, and then we're like, oh, they must not have power or something. Well, then we pull back out to the road and this exit has like every fast food place imaginable. So I'm like, oh, perfect. We'll just go here. We're like looking at them. All of a sudden we realize nothing, no one has power. The stop sign, the stop lights are off, everything's black. The whole town is without power. Okay, so we just turned around and got back on the side.

SPEAKER_02

Well, there was a big storm that day, yeah, or the day before.

SPEAKER_06

So we continued on to grailing with no chicken fingers, no chicken fingers, no taco bell, nothing. So I just saw a map the other day on the news that showed like where the biggest outbreaks were, and like it had little red dots. And in Michigan, it was all like northern Michigan, is like where the first outbreak. So had that Taco Bell been open, yeah, I probably would have been screwed because I like a Nacho Supreme Doritos locos taco.

SPEAKER_02

Or a cantina little quesadilla.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, but the quesadillas don't have to lettuce is it's on the I was just gonna say there's about every product Taco Bell has seems like it does, but I I stand corrected. According to the aficionado, she knows exactly the way it's nervous that weekend too because at that point, obviously, they hadn't identified it, but then a few weeks later they were starting to talk about produce and shredded lettuce. And I had brought a bunch of fruit. We had shredded lettuce at the place. I did buy shredded. And there's a two-week incubation period. So I'm like, are we all gonna because last year we all like half of us got COVID? And this year I'm like, are half of us gonna get cycles?

SPEAKER_02

And I think our friend Melissa sent us an article the day before the the day that they were they were arriving about watching the fruits.

SPEAKER_06

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

And we just had we were just pre-prepping the food, that the fruit there.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, and so I was like, oh my God, I'm gonna get a lot of blame here. Yeah. A lot of people, though, before we move on from this particular topic, par for the course, people on TikTok. Oh, yes, they are embracing it. They're like, oh, I'm I'm one shredded lettuce bag away from my goal weight. Like, remember the tape where people are training.

SPEAKER_06

Yes.

SPEAKER_03

Right, but they're losing 15 to 20 pounds because of the explosive diarrhea.

SPEAKER_06

Exactly. It's called skinny tox. People are doing hashtag skinny tox.

SPEAKER_03

Oh my god, you know what they should call it? Lettuce maxing.

SPEAKER_06

Oh my god.

SPEAKER_02

This is why, because if you have diarrhea, like you really need a bidet. Because it'll help with that hole. Like it's just like it, because it's it's tender. Well, a total toilet.

SPEAKER_06

Toto toilet cleans itself.

SPEAKER_02

Well, but for those that cannot afford a Toto, a tushi that is just 70 bucks, right? Can you give to you? Yeah, or maybe a product that we can actually we're gonna promote uh later on the episode can help us.

SPEAKER_03

That's a good tie-in. So just before we go, um, there are currently, as of today, I did a little research. It is in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia. 1,600 illnesses, 94 hospitalizations, zero deaths at this point. And I do want to read Taco Bell posted on X, I believe it was this morning, their official statement. It said, We want you to hear it from us. We take our health and safety seriously and have removed all affected Taylor Farms lettuce from Taco Bell stores. Go ahead and enjoy your Taco Bell today. You always got us, we always got you. See you in the drive-thru.

SPEAKER_06

Love it.

SPEAKER_03

I like it.

SPEAKER_06

Well, that's good. I mean, from a corporate standpoint, they've already been sued, so people are starting some class action losses.

SPEAKER_02

I don't know. The next I'm gonna think about it, the next Taco Bell uh order I'm gonna get. Like I just I think everybody is.

SPEAKER_03

It's just gonna stick with you a little bit. And can you imagine all the people that work there that are in their like 18, 20s? They're like, what do you mean? What's wrong with our lettuce?

SPEAKER_06

Well, they might be suffering themselves if they've been eating their product.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, on break. Yeah, I bet they have a lot of call-ins.

SPEAKER_06

Yes.

SPEAKER_03

Anyway, let's bridge this conversation into some other chicken fingers. How about that,

Chicken Tenders And Costco Samples

SPEAKER_03

Miyan?

SPEAKER_06

Perfect. I think you have uh Well, just now I just read that nationwide, Costco has created a new food item at all their food courts nationwide, and people are super excited about it. They are now serving chicken tenders at all the food courts in Costco nationwide. Yep. Have we had this conversation?

SPEAKER_03

I was gonna say tenders and fingers. Nuggets, tenders, fingers. Well, you should know, dude.

SPEAKER_02

Tenders, I know the nuggets, I know the nugget and I know a finger. But the tender, it's pretty much just the same thing. It's a thing.

SPEAKER_06

Chicken fingers, chicken tenders, I think are the same. It's like sliced chicken breast, breaded, and fried.

SPEAKER_02

Interesting. We I went to uh one of the newest rooftops here in um Detroit at the Hudson. It's called Fine Hall.

SPEAKER_06

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

And in their menu, they have this called fried boneless chicken. It is just chicken fingers.

SPEAKER_06

Is it or is it just is it like more of a ball? Is this a regular no?

SPEAKER_02

It is a regular chicken finger. I'm like, did you I asked the waitress, like, do you wanted to just find like a fancy way to just color chicken finger? She's like, pretty much. Pretty much.

SPEAKER_06

Well, you and I, also I want to know what sauces come with these.

SPEAKER_02

Honey mustard, honey mustard, and barbecue, which I preferred a barbecue and a homemade ranch because I mixed the two.

SPEAKER_03

Oh. I was gonna say, you and I, JJ, last week uh went to Como's, which is a long-standing pizza place well known in Ferndale. And we had always loved their chicken fingers, and believe it or not, they changed the rest. They wrapped it, they uh rolled it in um Captain Crunch.

SPEAKER_02

They used to.

SPEAKER_03

And fried it. And I'm not a Captain Crunch fan per se, but the fingers were so good. The best. Now I think we literally were like, I think these were air fried.

SPEAKER_02

They were, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, is it the same coating though?

SPEAKER_03

No. No.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, so I bet they're buying them pre-done frozen to save money, cost. Probably from cost. But air fried. Probably.

SPEAKER_03

I don't expect, I don't want air frying at my restaurants.

SPEAKER_02

No, I always you probably you can know when a product has been air fried. Like I I love my air fryer. I'm not opposed to it. But uh yeah, at home on a Sunday, recovering from the Saturday. But when I go out to a restaurant, I expect it. Yeah, I agree. Unless I'm at the oaks.

SPEAKER_06

Well, maybe they're trying to keep calories down for all the gays. Well, you know, the gays are watching their weight more so maybe than some of the straights.

SPEAKER_03

True. I mean straights eat chicken fingers.

SPEAKER_06

Or recover, but I feel like they're not the restaurant being in Ferndale.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Well, or recovering from the diarrhea, because I mean you don't want an oily chicken finger.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, JJ.

SPEAKER_06

Well, talking about uh Costco, the other thing is USA Today just published an article about Costco's samples and how they're show saying that studies have shown people are getting a serotonin kick by going to Costco and getting the free samples.

SPEAKER_03

Well, I can I got a kick or two. I've seen people and I can you can sense it on their face. It's like they're willing to wait two minutes in this little oven they're cooking for a toasted ravioli. I'm like tilapia. Or tilapia.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, and so some people like apparently they call them like tiny bites of happiness.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my god. It makes me happy. Like, I really like a little stamp. Let me just track back a little bit. I hate going to Costco.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, really? Oh, I love it.

SPEAKER_02

I hate it. Maddie knows this. I am if he goes to Costco, I try to get him to get my whatever three, four items I need from Costco. And he just sometimes texts me and it's like, Joseph Way, I'm going to Costco. Do you need anything? Because I just it gives me so much anxiety and stress. But when I do, I better get my samples.

SPEAKER_03

Well, do you really have anxiety and stress at all points? Because you seem locked in. When you do come, you seem very focused, locked in to get your tilapia, to get your little salad, get your I am locked in to get the samps.

SPEAKER_02

Not locked in to just go out.

SPEAKER_06

For a sample?

SPEAKER_03

Sometimes. You know what? You know what I'm realizing? I think you say yes to me during sample times and no, you're looking at the clock, aren't you? You're like, it's 7 p.m. There's no samples on that. There's no samples. I'm out.

unknown

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Or it depends on the day, too. If it's the weekend, I know samples are out and about. Saturdays, Sundays. During the week, there's not much sampling.

SPEAKER_03

I do think you can get a full meal if you go. Oh, you can at lunch lunch.

SPEAKER_02

And you wrap it up with a hot dog. Ah.

SPEAKER_06

Yes. Well, or now those chicken tenders all at the food court. But yeah, so I mean, forget retail therapy. It's really called sample therapy. I think if you're at Costco's.

SPEAKER_02

Trader Joe's does it too.

SPEAKER_06

They do, but they only have one. Costco's got like six or seven. And I love it at the end where they have like all the snack items, and there's like a little piece of chocolate that they're sampling, like the sea salt carnivore.

SPEAKER_02

Well, they do technically have two, and I was gonna say those. Um and Trader Joe's, they have the wine section, which they're sampling the wine with the little cheese or a popcorn and a little snacky, snacky dude, and then they have the other one.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, but sometimes I'm not. The Trader Joe samples, I can take them or leave them. The Costco, there's usually always at least one really good one.

SPEAKER_02

I'm on that line.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Can we do some? Can we

True Crime Turn And Bison Attack

SPEAKER_03

move into true crime? Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Because if the slippers have nut notice, what are we doing today? It's just diving, catching up.

SPEAKER_03

We were off the grid up in the Osaba, and then we had a special guest last week. So there's a lot of shit going on. Oh, sable. Sorry. I got it wrong. Sorry, Osable.

SPEAKER_02

Catching up headlines, hot topics, and all the things.

SPEAKER_03

All the things that, and we haven't really seen each other since the cabin. Yeah. So this is us, this is what we do. Yeah. This is what we do. Kikiing, kikiing.

SPEAKER_02

It's a kiki party.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I love it. I have two true crime. Two true. One involves a bison. One is more serious. And so I'm not laughing about it.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, so it's a creature feature first.

SPEAKER_03

Let's do that. Creature feature. And this can be probably short, but and this isn't also this isn't funny either. But did you guys see? I'm sure the grandpa that got lifted, got this bison. All right. Where do you guys let me let's talk about this in a way I have a question for you guys? How do you feel about the bison's behavior? Pro or con?

SPEAKER_06

Well, he's just being an animal. I'm not there's no pro or con about it. It's just typical animal behavior.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. So pro, I would say. I mean, like he's like it's he's in the wild. And I just and I struggle with, I'm somebody that loves nature. I struggle with even seeing the footage and all the people around. I know they're saying 20 to 25 feet is how you're far you're supposed to stay, but that for a bison, it's that animal was 2,000 pounds and has these huge horns. And a white pickup truck apparently beeped their horn. It startled the bison and he started to go for grandpa and his grandson. The grandpa had his son run one way and distracted the bison to come the other. And if you watch the video, they're playing a little game. The bison and the grandpa are playing like a little game of hide and seek amongst the trees. Grandpa lost the game, basically. And the it ended up actually gorging him. You can't really tell he was gored, but he was, in his like side of his hip and thrown like uh eight or ten feet into the air. And he ended up um, let's see, what uh he like broke his femur and how old was he? Oh is he? I don't know how old Grandpa was, but um like he looked like he was in his 70s.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

So um he uh oh 65. Sorry, Grandpa, for aging you.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

His name was hopefully he's not listening. I know his name was Carl. And but he, if he is listening, we have a chair for him.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, if you want to come on.

unknown

Right.

SPEAKER_03

And it was this was at Yellowstone.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. And it's in your bucket list.

SPEAKER_03

It so it caught him near the hip and launched him eight feet. Broke his femur in four places. Wow. Um, and he had to go under surgery and he kind of is laughing about it or whatever. But I don't know.

SPEAKER_02

It's just I always say, and I'm not a big crazy, I'm not a big fan of zoos, usually. Sure. But if you want to experience an animal under contained environment without any repercussions or anything like that, that's why the zoos aren't far. But if you're even then don't taunt them or taunt them, but if you're stepping into their own environment, you're pretty much just you know yeah, you're at their mercy. Yeah, you are like it's just like I've been to like the Rocky Mountains when you just like step in into, you know, I've seen wolves like walking around us and people just trying to play around with this. Like, this is a wild animal. Like, we went to South Africa, like people are ridiculous.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, even like the people that are in South Africa, they're like always like very Remember those baboons at our hotel that were and they if you left your slider open, they'd come right into your room and so I mean and people would screw around with them and try to get close to them and all those things.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, so you are at risk of that.

SPEAKER_03

But let me ask you this do you feel like any charges should be brought against the driver of the truck that honked his horn? Yeah, who has nothing nothing to do with the grandpa and the kid, but the grandpa and the kid, because they were doing they didn't do anything wrong, they were abiding by the rules. Yeah, the truck startled the bison, and then bison obviously isn't going out, didn't go after the truck, it kind of got agitated and went after went in their their direction. I agree. I mean, uh that man was injured because of the recklessness of because I'm sure Yellowstone has policies haunting your horns. I'm assuming.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah. So I mean, but the bison he had a mission.

SPEAKER_03

I can see you can see in the video. Like he wasn't killed.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, 100%.

SPEAKER_06

It was just 100%. Like that, they're not. He was ready to touch. Like it was just.

SPEAKER_03

I just bought a whole book of bison stamps. You did? Yes.

SPEAKER_06

Oh my god.

SPEAKER_03

And then the bison hit the news, and I'm like, should I hold on to these? Oh please.

SPEAKER_06

I can't. Well, speaking of creature features, did you guys see that video of the KTLA reporter who was reporting on the news and a cockroach was just crawling on her chest?

SPEAKER_03

I did not see that.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, I just watched it. I'm like, I can't believe she's not. She didn't even like try to flick it off or anything. It was crazy to me.

SPEAKER_03

So she's doing a live segment.

SPEAKER_06

Just talking like this with her microphone. And you can see the cockroach. And it's just crawling all on her chest.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

And so are you so the suggestion being she was just trying to be a professional and pretend like I didn't know what to do?

SPEAKER_06

I think, or maybe she didn't feel that you would think she did. I don't know. I would freak out. Like, remember when we were recording at the cabin and I got that tick, and I was trying to just go with it and quietly get rid of it. No, you guys did the production. You weren't quietly trying, you were slamming your because then when I got it off my foot, I wanted to make sure it was killed so it didn't get on anyone else.

SPEAKER_03

Right. But for the record, that wasn't a comment.

SPEAKER_02

I'm not gonna comment on this because there's a it's going to be a Netflix documentary where they are going to interview Maddie and I on Megan's behavior, and we're gonna confess all the things.

SPEAKER_05

Oh god. All the things.

SPEAKER_02

But this reminds me, I don't know if you guys actually saw this, it was not even put on our on our pre-production meeting, but like that reminds me of like Jennifer Lopez in 2025. She she had a moment with the cricket.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, I remember that. Yeah. But she took it off and threw it, didn't she? Yeah, she did.

SPEAKER_02

That's so it's in uh Kazakhstan. The funny thing is that people were seeing because obviously the big screens.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, yeah, everyone.

SPEAKER_02

People saw the cricket, so they started yelling. So she thought it was a stand in ovation for her.

SPEAKER_06

Oh god. Well, they were, but no, they were trying to look out for a few years ago.

SPEAKER_02

She's like, Yeah, it's just crickets. But you had a second true crime.

Missing Teen Mystery On Horn Island

SPEAKER_03

I do have a second one, and this is like one of those stories that hits the headline that seems to over time capture everyone's attention because there's a lot of unknowns, and it's a developing story, so we might talk about it a little bit more in the future, but um, it's about um also July 4th. It ties back to July 4th. So this um 18-year-old Nolan Xavier Wells. So he disappeared on July 4th on a boat trip to Horn Island, which is in Mississippi. Unfortunately, his body was found two days later when it washed up. He went to the island with three of his friends, but those friends returned from the island without him.

SPEAKER_06

And they went by boat.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, they went by boat, and the stories, I don't know, there's different things out there, but from our understanding, the reason the parents are feeling because I guess preliminarily and they're still doing autopsy and tox toxicology.

SPEAKER_02

Well, they did the autopsy already, but they were waiting, they're waiting for the results.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, but uh they say on the surface it doesn't look like there was any foul play.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

However, uh the you know, the parents are, you know, like we know our son, and so some of the odd things that happened is he they say he normally would not leave the island. He sticks with his people, his wallet and his phone, which to me is the weirdest, yes are on a boat. So the boat returns, but then there's all this other stuff where the boat had some mechanical.

SPEAKER_02

So there's a lot of layers.

SPEAKER_03

There is, but let's go on the phone piece and the wallet piece because I think we have some strong opinions on that.

SPEAKER_02

Because why and we have an attorney on the table.

SPEAKER_03

We do, myself included. Like the mom says the mom said, I know my son, he wouldn't stay back. I'm gonna say this, mom. As much as you know your child on the 4th of July, everyone at a party at an island with a lot of probably consuming alcohol, or I'm not saying he was or wasn't, but just had he could just have had fun and decided to stay.

SPEAKER_06

Well, no, but you're missing a key fact. He the friends are saying he stayed because he met a girl and he wanted to keep talking and hanging out with the girl.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, there's another reason to stay.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. So that like is legitimate. But the question is having had a boat myself in the past, you we would often anchor in the water and then you would swim to shore or like wade to shore. So I can see your phone and wallet being left then. But when you make the decision to tell your friends, hey, I'm not gonna go back on the boat, I think you would make sure you would get your phone and or your wallet. But the very least, your phone. Because your phone, maybe now you don't need your wallet, I'll get it later. But my phone, I can order Ubers, I can pay with Apple Pay, I can do whatever right now. Well, you can't get an Uber from the island, but but you don't know if this island is you don't know if the island is fully surrounded by water or if it's connected to the water.

SPEAKER_03

If it's an island, it's fully surrounded by water. I mean, that's by definition. But by definition, it's an island. Okay. Well, maybe there might be a bridge. Anyway, correct. There's still there could be a way of the bridge. An island is surrounded by water.

SPEAKER_06

I feel like there should be this is without it doesn't mean that it can't you can't drive it off.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, but you are you were questioning the definition of an island.

SPEAKER_06

Well, I'm questioning he's saying I can't get an Uber off it. I said, I don't think you know.

SPEAKER_03

I'm gonna go with I Bet You Can't.

SPEAKER_06

Okay, why not?

SPEAKER_03

But there is an opportunity there. Why not a boat Uber? I I mean they're they call them a boat taxi, correct?

SPEAKER_06

Which again, hopefully you can pay with your so that to me is the weirdest thing.

SPEAKER_03

I am and now there's speculation uh supposedly that there could have been an argument had. Also, what I find interesting is on the boat back when they worked, so then they started to think that they were they were taking on water and the boat was gonna sink, so they had to call and ask for Coast Guard support. And they're like, they ask, and it's recorded how many people are on the boat? Uh like seven of us, like seven of us. So they don't they didn't even give a full count. And there if three four three or four went over, then there's seven coming back, and he's not on the boat, and I don't know. I don't know. We're gonna see how there's now there's some high-profile attorneys, and yeah, Benjamin Crump is representing the family, yeah. And there's a whole timeline.

SPEAKER_02

Tyler Perry is handling all the funeral arrangements, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

So this I think this is gonna play out for a little bit, and of course, there's all the sleuths on TikTok making all of these. I can't stand that. I can't.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I just I'm like, you don't even have the facts, and you're starting to I'm a fan of TikTok, but when it comes to like news like that, and they're trying to get their own take on it, and I'm like, I just turned it off.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I agree.

SPEAKER_06

Well, sometimes I like to hear what they're saying.

SPEAKER_03

I did get their take. I did get caught up in it when that um one lady, like what was her name, that got that police officer, or did she hit her husband, or didn't she hit her husband? Oh, you know. I don't remember. Anyway, she got off. It was a hung jury, and then she got off. Okay, well, next.

SPEAKER_06

Are you talking about Karen Reed? Oh my gosh. Well, you miss a lot of facts.

SPEAKER_03

We don't have to dive in into that. No, we don't. I know, I'm just saying I got into the TikToks about people talking about the Karen Reed thing, and it kind of sucked me in.

SPEAKER_06

But well, there was like a whole town kind of involved. Yes, I know.

SPEAKER_03

I'm not here to debate with this. Yeah, I'm not here to debate that with you.

SPEAKER_02

But to Maddie's point, this is a developing story, so we are definitely keeping an eye on it and uh making sure that we bring it in and try to um lift up those families that are stressed uh about this, and it's it's I mean, we're our hearts are with the family, and um hopefully they get a resolution of it.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, absolutely. Okay, what else do you want to talk about?

SPEAKER_02

Meekan,

New Knee Injection Hope And Jokes

SPEAKER_02

you get it, you're gonna ready for some injections in your knees.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. So there's I'm not my knees are fine, but I'm really excited when I hear about research.

SPEAKER_03

You should talk about your own knees.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, well, maybe you need this. So there's a new, well, it's a new injectable treatment that will allow your body to regenerate cartilage. So they're saying that with this new shot, if it works, it's a game changer for people with arthritis or chronic knee pain because now they can just get a shot in their knee and it's going to regrow the cartilage. So instead of masking pain with things like a cortisone shot, which I will tell you, my PMR doctor says you should really avoid cortisone shots at all cost because studies show they actually damage your muscles and cartilage over time. So this new shot that could regrow cartilage could stop people from having to have knee surgeries, things like that when they get injured. So very excited. It's new, it's in studies, it's not out there, you can't get it yet, but let's hope it comes to us sooner rather than later.

SPEAKER_02

Because I'm at the age that they, I mean, I'm only like 32, but um I'm at the age that when I mean my knees might crack here and there because I do a lot of squats though.

SPEAKER_06

Well, that's you're gonna do a lot of damage.

SPEAKER_02

So I might want that injection because you are in the prayer position a lot. No, never mind. It does speak for like my prayer positions.

SPEAKER_06

So that sounds like you're doing a lot of blowjobs.

SPEAKER_02

I am not a blowjob officer.

SPEAKER_06

Well, it sounds like it.

SPEAKER_02

Not at all. This is a full nanny.

SPEAKER_06

I don't know why you're bringing that.

SPEAKER_03

I'm supporting your desire to get this cartilage out on the market. Well, it's injection.

SPEAKER_02

It's the new injection. My dad is gonna like it. I'm not gonna pull all the cartilage out.

SPEAKER_06

Well, and it's just one step. So this is now they're testing it for knees, but the same technology, I think it will snowball.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, this shoulder might need it.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, so just think of all the ways and things that it could eventually snowball to. So I'm excited.

SPEAKER_03

That's good. I mean, that was a I mean, that is a PSA.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, yeah. Just keep your eyes out. If you're having some knee pain, this might be on the market soon. Oh gosh, I can't with this. I can't.

SPEAKER_02

Can we wrap up on topics with this very big moment?

SPEAKER_06

Thank you, TMZ, for capturing this.

SPEAKER_02

Can can I bring you away? Before we go in, can I just play a clip for you?

SPEAKER_06

Yes, please do.

SPEAKER_02

Because I think it's very important for us to be able to lose.

SPEAKER_03

Does this happen when you do your squats? Oh, it has happened.

SPEAKER_02

It has happened before, but we're not gonna talk about it. Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry. All right.

Schumer Fart Clip And Chaos

SPEAKER_00

Well, we are, but to know, of course, how and why this chaos is spreading through their streets, and we need a complete investigation that's independent. Now on Iran and the NDAA.

SPEAKER_06

Oh my god, that was poor Chuck Schumer talking on the Senate floor and apparently parted, but he didn't acknowledge it.

SPEAKER_03

I don't even say apparently.

SPEAKER_06

I mean I think he's suffering from the parasite.

SPEAKER_02

Oh the taco bell parasite, yeah. It's the worst thing. When you're like, I'm not talking about just a parasite, but when you are in the middle of like your stomach flu or anything like that, and you thought you got your last load out and you're going to meet people.

SPEAKER_03

Well, I am I don't even think it you have to have a stomach flu. It's just daily. I had it on the cabin. Jason.

SPEAKER_02

We were playing we were playing a game and according to yours perspective.

SPEAKER_03

No, we were there watching and involved. A game piece. Yeah. We're at a picnic table.

SPEAKER_02

It was a light little toot.

SPEAKER_03

Can we let it can you let us say it what you did? Say it. You dropped a game piece on the deck and you bent over as one would do to pick up the game piece.

SPEAKER_06

And it was a no, it was a yeah, it was like right in our friend Melissa's face. She was also leaning down for it.

SPEAKER_03

Um you didn't cough either. I think that's what people normally do.

SPEAKER_06

If one slips out, you're like well, what's funny is I've been watching the news, and a lot of times, uh like the different reporters are trying to talk to other senators in DC, and all they keep asking about was did Chuck Schumer fart on the Senate floor, and the senators are just trying to dodge the questions, not laugh. They kind of smile, they smirk, they try to keep walking. It's very funny. I can't get enough.

SPEAKER_03

It's a good it's it's the gift that keeps on giving.

SPEAKER_06

So thank you, TMZ. We love those types of reports.

SPEAKER_02

If you have a situation like that, I have a product for everybody that I want to bring in. Because sometimes if it's not the actual dry fart, you can you might chart. You might you know what a charting means?

SPEAKER_06

Yes, who doesn't?

SPEAKER_02

So I have a product that we kind of slightly like very little talked about when we were in the episode of the cabin with Kyle and Denise and Melissa because Maddie forgot the portable bidet. I have a solution for everybody. There

Dude Wipes Debate And Bathroom Reality

SPEAKER_02

is this product that is I really like, and it's called Dude Wipes. I mentioned it before. Actually, they went into Shark Tank. There were there were some data saying that there were some grown-up men going into the aisle for baby wipes constantly because they wanted to just keep it down there squeaky clean. Sure. And now dude wipes, it's just like something about uh wipe, it's still a wipe, that it just says dude wipes, it's just for you, it's targeted for men, obviously, in this case. There are unscented. I usually go with a mint shill.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, is that tingle?

SPEAKER_02

It is scented. Oh, some are scented. It gives you a little tingle. Doesn't it? You can try it. This is for you, Maddie. Oh, I'm gonna leave it here for you. Why did you get me the extra large? Because this is more this is one of the things that I want to bring in. One of the things that dude wipes um are proud, like they're very proud of it. It's just it just requires one wipe or one of those sheets that they have. Because it's large enough so that you don't have to go into like multiple wipes because it's that's gonna clog your toilet.

SPEAKER_03

That's saying a lot to be able to get it all in one wipe. But okay.

SPEAKER_02

Well, I mean, if you have a ghost poop, that's uh well, that's a different story.

SPEAKER_03

I don't need the dude wipe. You might still need to wipe. We need to talk about the elephant in the room, and that is I don't know that I I won't be flushing those down the toilet.

SPEAKER_06

So the the Yes, they're not supposed to be able to do that.

SPEAKER_02

They are made with 99% water plus aloe and vitamins, uh, vitamin E. They're plant-based, and they are supposed to be one of the best dissolve like this dissolvable wipes that you could have. You have it, they do have it on the back that you have to look into the your counties and cities' legal laws.

SPEAKER_06

And they all say no. Legal laws? It could be illegal, it could be because they can clogs. Because it goes through the city sewer stores.

SPEAKER_02

But they are, like I say, there's they are the larger than the standard flushable wipe, so that could actually um clog your toilet more clog your toilet, but but we have with two T's with your hole, right? Squeaky clean.

SPEAKER_03

So it's uh and Maddie.

SPEAKER_02

There is a 1% cash back on the racketan.

SPEAKER_03

You should have led with that. I almost feel like I when I use them, I need to bring a little plastic bag with me so I can tuck them in the plastic bag.

SPEAKER_02

No, that would be a pull out. Wow.

SPEAKER_03

So you know what they are good for if you are going on a hike and you go up to the phone.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, yeah, 100%.

SPEAKER_03

Or if you're camping, yeah, or hiking, or even people, you know, when people run marathons, they shit themselves and it goes all over their legs. I don't, you could do a little, do they have like a tiny travel pack?

SPEAKER_02

Yes, they do. I brought in the big pack, but they have a travel pack that is just one wipe away. And if you like, listen, it's the summer, you get a little sweaty, right? You wipe it.

SPEAKER_03

Right. Well, JJ, that's a good point.

SPEAKER_02

I'm telling you.

SPEAKER_03

With this fucking heat, you could just get swamp ass. Oh, and so you can just, you know what that is, Megan? Swamp ass. Yes, okay.

SPEAKER_06

Wouldn't you think I live in like the 1950s? Yeah. Yes, I know.

SPEAKER_03

I know all these terms. I'm just okay.

SPEAKER_06

Well, I just choose not to use them.

SPEAKER_03

All right. Well, I think it'd be good for a swamp.

SPEAKER_06

I am a little bit.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I agree.

SPEAKER_06

If you're at your Pride Festival, but let me ask you, can I use those to wipe my body?

SPEAKER_02

Yes, what happens?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, so you could use them if it's a hot day, you just get done pickleballing, you could do a little wiping. Wiping.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, and if you put those again, men chill is way.

SPEAKER_03

What are those things called that are portable Johns? A portable john. Yeah. Portage John. I wouldn't have Portageon. Portageon. Yeah, that would be good. I would use those in there. Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

So it's funny that this is your product because I was at work earlier this week and we got an email sent to the whole company from the facility manager that dude wipes were seen in the men's bathroom. We have single some single stall bathrooms, and there was dude wipes left in there, and that they cannot be used at all. It violates our lease and it clogs the toilets and to stop using them immediately.

SPEAKER_02

How did they know that there were dude wipes though?

SPEAKER_06

Because they someone left that package in there. Full package?

SPEAKER_02

They had the full package? Yes. Or were they having like the little travel games?

SPEAKER_06

They had a picture. They had a picture. Full picture.

SPEAKER_02

Wow. Wow.

SPEAKER_06

They left it like that.

SPEAKER_03

Did they look up their local laws? Is that did that person break a law? Well, it highlights our lease.

SPEAKER_02

Wow. So I use them everywhere I go.

SPEAKER_06

At work?

SPEAKER_02

I have used them.

SPEAKER_06

Don't leave them in that bathroom. You're gonna get it.

SPEAKER_02

Our bathrooms are professionally like there's when you flush, it's just like a turbulence point.

SPEAKER_06

Most commercial bathrooms are that way.

SPEAKER_03

It's when it gets to its destination the problem, JJ. Correct.

SPEAKER_02

You both are like putting down my product.

SPEAKER_03

No, I'm not. I'm telling you, it's great for Pride Festivals, hiking, bring a little bit marathon running, outdoor gardening. If you don't want to come back inside, it's great for those things.

SPEAKER_02

So you bring in your dude wipes and your poo bag with you. You put the wipes on the bag.

SPEAKER_03

In those instances, uh, if they're biodegradable, yeah, they are. I'm just digging a little hole and putting them in. Yeah, may a flower might come off out of it. See how much I'm supporting?

SPEAKER_06

Well, look, and if you go to Europe, you're not even allowed in Europe a lot of times to put toilet paper in the toilet.

SPEAKER_03

You're not. Well, then what are you talking about?

SPEAKER_06

Because of the pipes being hundreds of people. What do you do there? They want you to just wipe and put it in the trash can. Which is the one.

SPEAKER_02

I just I told my family sometimes, I'm like, do you have to just put them on the toilet here? Well, that's a difference.

SPEAKER_06

Oh my god. When your family visits. Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Wow. That's a difference. Well, I'm just and family feeding.

SPEAKER_06

I support your product, but for people at home with who have to pay for their own sewer systems, toilet, plumbers, F-Is and I's.

SPEAKER_02

There is travel packs. You can find them at Walmart, you can find it in Amazon. It's just about $2 for 18 wipes.

SPEAKER_03

Get them online. That'll save two cents with graphics.

SPEAKER_02

And 29 cents in Target. But bringing this home, Costco has uh 480 wipes package, and that is just $25.

SPEAKER_03

When did you pick those up?

SPEAKER_02

Before the cabin, because I couldn't even use them at the cabin. Right. Because there's some legal situation happening and some rules that I could have.

SPEAKER_06

Well, the sewer system up there is a can be dicey.

SPEAKER_02

And I didn't do it and didn't use them. So dude wipes. This is it. I like that. Guys, regardless of what Megan and Maddie used. No, no, no.

SPEAKER_03

I support it. Definitely not a shitty product.

SPEAKER_02

I like that.

SPEAKER_03

I like that.

SPEAKER_06

I like that.

SPEAKER_02

Maddie, that was good. I kind of bring it on.

SPEAKER_06

I'm intrigued by this mint shell personally.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Oh, well. Maddie, and you will tell me. This is for you. This is your gift.

SPEAKER_03

I'll tell you if I get a tingle.

SPEAKER_02

Slip it ins and pull out. Okay. Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

I think it's time for some slip it ins and pull it out. So

Nordstrom Sale Finds And Cashback Traps

SPEAKER_06

my slip it in for anyone. If you haven't heard or don't know, the Nordstrom anniversary sale is officially live. And I will tell you this is big. The discounts they have on some really great name brand type products are not to be missed. So I have highlighted some of what I think are the best deals, best products. They're in our link tree.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, really?

SPEAKER_06

I've got a Nordstrom anniversary sale collection. Go and check it out. I'm talking Uggs that are normally over $100 are $60. Uh skincare products that are over $100 are $50. You get buy one, get ones. A lot of your athletic wear, athle leisure wear that are normally over $100 are $50 or less. So amazing, great deals. Plus some of your like products, like you want a red light therapy mask. I kind of or you need a new high-end hairdryer, things like that. The discounts are big and they you don't want to miss them. So it goes until I think August 8th or 9th, but it's live now. Check it out. I've already bought one purchase. Uh, a couple things I wanted were sold out. I'm kind of monitoring to see if they come back.

SPEAKER_02

So you love to monitor things.

SPEAKER_06

I do. I've always got a monitor. Well, when I get stressed at work or I need a little break, I do a little quick review of the things I'm monitoring online. It gives me a break. It gives me a little break. But keeping on the line of shopping, my pull it out also relates. I know, Maddie, you're a Rackiton fan, as am I, and I do use it. However, I get very angry when I'm on a website like Amazon. And then the Rackiton little announcement, if you have the browser attachment, um, will say, Oh, get it here cheaper. Plus, you get 10% back. And I'm like, oh, okay, well, that seems like a good deal. I'm gonna do it. So I go there, get to the checkout process, only to have to pay $10 or $20 for shipping. Where on Amazon it's free with Prime. So then the product not only is it more money, it's like way more money. And I'm paying for shipping, which I hate doing.

SPEAKER_03

So that should only happen to you once, maybe twice. And then you should be like, I'm not falling for it. Because I know what you're saying, and I've done the same thing.

SPEAKER_06

And now it's always worth a checkout. I check it out and see. But anyway, I and almost inevitably end up back at Amazon because some of the other websites might offer some free shipping. Constantly, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And I think that Maddie taught me that too. Like even with the TikTok shop, I'd see the product and I like it, and I'd check on Amazon first.

SPEAKER_06

Well, and I'll tell you with the TikTok shop, I have found some good items there, but here's another uh PSA. Those same items many times are cheaper on Timu. Oh, go right to the store. Well, I'm just saying, I have a same product.

SPEAKER_03

Don't buy it when you see it first, wherever. Like you can use I usually do a little investigation no matter what. Yeah. A click-a-pick, Google shopping lens, Google Lens shopping is a good resource as well. Okay, I'm gonna go. We've

Noodles Slang And Lottery Limits

SPEAKER_03

talked a little bit about food. There in the past episodes, I think I wanted to let you guys know that I was gonna try to start using however, comma.

SPEAKER_02

Oh god, I don't. I haven't seen him.

SPEAKER_03

Megan is said she wants to use the gay vine. I have a new one. Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_02

So I missed Do we need to slip it in like slang dictionary?

SPEAKER_03

I miss understood somebody and thought they were using this term in a way that they weren't. But then I'm like, I think that could take off, and I'm gonna use it in the way I thought I understood it. Somebody said something like, Oh, that's noodles. And I thought they were like, That's a Gen C. Well, they were talking about the fact that they were actually noodles. So that was just a person saying those are noodles. But I think noodles could be like the shit. Oh, wow, I like your slipping in. That's fucking noodles.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, see, I don't like it. Like, I thought you were gonna say you were using noodles for like if someone said something and you're like, I don't know, you'd be like, I'm noodles, which means you're noodling it over.

SPEAKER_02

You're thinking about that.

SPEAKER_06

What about like Nolan, that guy who went missing. Oh, he left his wallet and phone on the boat. That seems odd. I'd be like, Yeah, I'm noodles.

SPEAKER_03

No, don't. It's not that. I'm that's how I'm using it.

SPEAKER_06

It's if you hear me say noodles, it's because I'm thinking about it.

SPEAKER_03

It's JJ when he found those packets of dude wipes at Costco for a great deal. He's like, fuck, noodles. There are they're all I get 180 of them for that sounds weird. Noodles.

SPEAKER_02

I also don't want to say noodles.

SPEAKER_06

I agree.

SPEAKER_02

Whatever. Really, you don't have to do it all I know. Fuck noodles.

SPEAKER_03

I don't think you should say I'm gonna pull back the fuck instead of saying, oh fuck noodles, just be like, oh noodles. Noodles.

SPEAKER_06

Noodles. I think you sound uneducated.

SPEAKER_03

Wow. Wow.

SPEAKER_06

Instead of saying noodling it over, you're just I'm noodles.

SPEAKER_03

I know exactly what I'm saying.

SPEAKER_06

Okay, all right. However, comma.

SPEAKER_03

I think it's noodles. Okay. My pull it out is I don't, you're gonna somebody's gonna have to check me on this, but I was at Walmart this morning at 9 45. That's a bold choice.

SPEAKER_06

I didn't know you were a Walmart shop.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, me neither.

SPEAKER_06

That's a shock.

SPEAKER_02

That's a s that's your pull it out. That's a show. Kind of story.

SPEAKER_03

That's a noodle.

SPEAKER_02

I had I am about to noodle on that.

SPEAKER_03

I had a specific item I had to get. It's neither here or Justin Walmart? Yes.

SPEAKER_06

Can you tell us they do have Walmart only items? I will say I noticed that.

SPEAKER_03

Can you tell us more about this? This is not my you guys are really disrupting my slips and noodles today. Perhaps. Anyway, when you walk in, there is a Michigan lottery, one of those kiosks. I like to play scratch-offs, and I also like to do the Lotto 47 old school, because I feel like nobody plays that one anymore. So I'm so somebody will win. So I couldn't get it to take my cash, or I couldn't get it to take my card. And finally, the greeter person that was there, she says, sorry, sir. 10 a.m. I'm like, what?

SPEAKER_06

Oh, the lotto sales. I'm like, what do you mean?

SPEAKER_03

She goes, it's 9.54. You've got six minutes before you can buy those. I had no idea.

SPEAKER_06

I didn't either, but it makes sense.

SPEAKER_03

I don't know if it's a I don't know if it's a Walmart policy or a Michigan lottery policy. You can't policy quote unquote gamble before 10 a.m. Like why are you giving me those limitations? Is it because you just like liquor?

SPEAKER_06

It's it's the state.

SPEAKER_03

I thought they loosened that.

SPEAKER_06

I thought Jennifer Graham only if you buy certain licenses from the state that you can sell liquor before noon on a Sunday or other times.

SPEAKER_03

I want my lottoes at 9 30 if I want them at 9 30.

SPEAKER_06

It is kind of in today's world, like who cares?

SPEAKER_03

Maybe it's because that if people are buying their lotos first thing in the morning, that could equate to an addiction. Like they wake up, they got to go get their lotos. Nope. Take a breather, decide whether or not you really need those, and maybe you'll change your mind by 10 a.m. I don't know. But I was, I didn't get them, so therefore I may not you didn't wait the six minutes. Oh, well, here's even fuller. I do my shopping and I go back to it, and the lady's still there. I tried again, it did not work. And I'm like, and I went, I did this emoji, and she's like, Well, I'm sorry, sir. Somebody actually has to turn the machine on. She's like, I'll call them and have them come up. And I said, No, it's fine. I've got other places to stop. She goes, I've got to call him anyway because he should have been turning it on. Yeah, exactly. And I'm like, I'm not waiting. But thank you.

SPEAKER_06

Well, that's a Walmart personnel problem that you're identifying.

SPEAKER_03

I just I know, I just I just tackled two items. Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

But Walmart, get your personnel to you know, do their jobs. I mean, that's 10 a.m.

SPEAKER_02

Turn the machine.

SPEAKER_06

100%. If it has to be 10 a.m.

SPEAKER_02

It has to be automatic.

SPEAKER_06

Well, you would do in this in today's world, don't leave it to a person.

SPEAKER_03

But that's a problem automatically the Michigan lottery. So that's a third issue we have. Wow.

SPEAKER_06

Well, I don't take offense with Michigan lottery. They have their rules.

SPEAKER_03

To JJ's point, the machine should automatically kick on. Clearly, they don't. So Michigan Lottery should Oh, it was a Michigan lottery machine?

SPEAKER_06

It wasn't a Walmart. Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

It was a self-served Michigan lottery machine.

SPEAKER_06

It's interesting because now I'm gonna see. Um, I just saw Mega Millions, was that 600 million, a commercial? I'm like, oh, maybe I should buy a ticket. And I always buy them online. So I'm gonna try to try before 10 a.m. I'm going to. I will.

SPEAKER_03

Because if you can, I feel like that sketch, because that's a workaround, and the addicts are wherever there's a way, there's a well, there's a way.

SPEAKER_06

Then I question Walmart, and it's a Walmart.

SPEAKER_03

So this might come we to be continued. Yes. JJ.

SPEAKER_06

I'm gonna investigate. I'm gonna noodles.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, slip it in. Um,

Hot Dog Condiments And Remote Hunt

SPEAKER_02

Maddie, and maybe Megan knows that uh it's a summer, so I love a good, and we I kind of did a reference on Costco. I love a good hot dog summer. I love a hot dog, period. Um, one thing that I really love is, and before you come for me, on regards to the pronunciation, I do it like mayonnaise on the hot dog. I love that so much. And when I see at the Costco or whatever, I'm going to get my hot dog that is a mayonnaise dispenser, it's a dream.

SPEAKER_03

That happened in New York.

SPEAKER_02

Do you remember that? It happened in New York. I was still on Liberty Island of all places. It's really rare that I could see it happening, but Costco has it.

SPEAKER_03

We were on Liberty Island, and you know how you go and get your condiments. He saw the ketchup, and then he saw the males, and he went, noodles!

SPEAKER_04

Oh my god. I'm pretty sure he didn't say noodles. I swear to God, I swear to you.

SPEAKER_02

I swear to God. So I was so, so excited, and I'm very excited. And if you have not tried it yet, ketchup and mayo on your hot dog, it's a dream. You know, so yummy.

SPEAKER_06

I'm kind of in the minority. Like there's this whole group of people, and it seems like they're the loudest. So I feel like I'm in the minority, but that people say you have to have mustard or mustard only on hot dogs. And I'm a no mustard girl. I agree. I do ketchup, but I like a sweet relish.

SPEAKER_03

Can I say, so my question on that is you think the mustard community is the loudest?

SPEAKER_06

About that it has to only be mustard. I know people that they only do mustard. Yes. No, that's what I'm saying. They are very loud about it, and that that's the proper way to eat a hot dog is mustard only.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

I just you never hear that or he probably does.

SPEAKER_03

I do, but I think it's I think the mustard community might be like, I think we're being averagely loud about it. Oh, I don't know. What's your pull it out, JJ?

SPEAKER_02

My pull it out is a remote control hunt. Remote control hunt.

SPEAKER_03

Hunt?

SPEAKER_02

Hunt. H-U-N-T.

SPEAKER_03

I don't know what a remote control hunt is.

SPEAKER_02

When I'm on my couch.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, a hunt for a remote control.

SPEAKER_02

And I swear I had it right next to me.

SPEAKER_03

You know.

SPEAKER_02

I usually do because I turn the TV on. When I'm about to turn the volume up or down, or switch to channel, or switch to another app. The remote is nowhere to be found.

SPEAKER_03

I struggle with this as well.

SPEAKER_06

I do, not on my couch because we have like big armrests. It's more so when I watch TV in bed or I have a frame TV and it's a very small remote. Well, I like to support our top products. Anyway, it's a very small remote and it constantly I'm searching on the comforter trying to find it when I need to fast forward or do something. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

It's weird because when you have it in your hand, it's you do what you do and you put it wherever.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, because you got it. And then so you landed on when you wanted to watch.

SPEAKER_03

We have no one to be upset about. No, except for ourselves. Because it I agree, JJ. It's a good podcast.

SPEAKER_02

But I'm there, I'm watching it and about to turn the TV on again, or like the volume, and I'm like, I'm noodles about it.

SPEAKER_03

No, I know you are. No. No, you are. No, you guys are screwing with my noodles. Not speaking. Can be used multiple ways. My noodles are like all the shelf. You guys use noodles as a bad thing. And now you're using it as noodles.

SPEAKER_06

No, I thought you meant he's thinking about where it is.

SPEAKER_03

Thinking about what the noodles are.

SPEAKER_06

How do you feel once you find it?

SPEAKER_03

Noodles. Noodles.

SPEAKER_06

Oh my god. I can't with that. All right, slippers. Until
