Growing up Spanish and family-oriented, I learned early that family isn’t just blood; it’s who shows up. That mindset took me to the U.S., where I built a life full of adventure, chosen family, and a mild obsession with squats.

Later in life, I embraced living authentically as a proud gay man, finding strength in my story and joy in a life fully lived.

By day, I design professional development programs for a nonprofit. Off the clock, I’m at the gym, painting, chasing the sun, or deep in reality TV.

On Slip It In, I bring Spanish flair, curiosity, and strong opinions (especially about what dating really is). I might learn a new word mid-episode… and yes, you’ll hear: “Does JJ know it?!”
