DollyGate is officially open for business. After Melissa casually revealed last episode that she met Dolly Parton backstage at the Lowell Showboat as a child, Matty did what any reasonable friend would do: checked with his dad, his sister and the local newspaper archives. The receipts point somewhere very different, with Tammy Wynette emerging as the likely woman behind Melissa’s decades-long Dolly memory.

From there, the brunch table moves into the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip 20th anniversary, the very subjective battle for Song of the Summer, Miley’s new one-name era and the Bravo-meets-MTV relationship nobody had on their bingo card: Phaedra Parks and her “Castle Daddy,” CT Tamburello. There’s also a surprisingly serious discussion about whether “my fella” is an acceptable grown-up alternative to boyfriend.

Megan brings a considerably cheaper alternative to the Lululemon habit with CRZ Yoga, then Slip It Ins and Pull It Outs deliver a tennis ball that grunts when you hit it, people who waste everyone’s green light while staring at their phones, FX’s Adults, inherited road rage and some concern for Lionel Richie after his recent hospitalization.

Slip It In is the unhinged brunch conversation you can’t help overhearing! Longtime friends Matty, Megan and JJ take on the kinds of hot topics that always find their way to the table, including pop culture, internet trends, products, dating and relationships, and the everyday chaos we probably should keep to ourselves, but don’t.
